How to get #1 on Google in minutes

Realistically, how true is this? Can I get #1 on Google in minutes? It is possible, but is only going to work with long-tail keywords. What is that you ask? Lets say you are a criminal attorney. You do not need to be #1 for the search term “criminal attorney”, you are probably more interested in local searches. If you live in Suffolk County, New York… the keyword “Suffolk County Criminal Attorney” should be good enough. A long-tail keyword is one that has at least 3 words in it.

Now that we have figured out a search term, what do we do with it? One way that I have been successful in getting people in the top 10 of Google in as little as 5 minutes is using video. Before we get into that you need to understand the algorithm of Google. Google determines who gets on top of their search engine by a popularity contest, using backlinks. Backlinks are links that point from one website to another. So if has a link on their website that points to your website, that is one backlink for you. So the more backlinks you have, the more important you are. It is also better if the website pointing towards you has a high page rank. What is a high ranked website? Youtube, Facebook, Myspace, Digg, etc… A way to find out what a website is ranked, you can click here

Now that you understand what Google looks for, you can take that knowledge and manipulate it. All you need to do is have a highly ranked website and get a ton of backlinks to it and boom, you are on top of Google. Easier said than done.

One way that I have been successful doing this is by using video. I take a video and upload it to many video websites, blogs, etc… Each time it uploads you need to make sure the keywords “Suffolk County Criminal Attorney” is in the title, description and tags. The link you want to drive traffic to should be in description. Each video should be identical when it is uploaded. There is a lot more to this, which is why I use a service that automates all the tedious work.
